Provisions for management of the natural environment as established by the directives of the Special Plan for the Organisation and Protection of Collserola are complex due to the vast diversity of aspects involved. These include: treatment of plant coverage; recovery of fauna; control of agricultural and livestock farming activities; correction of impact; and, generally speaking, supervision of all interventions, direct and indirect, on natural systems.
Besides pursuing all these tasks, research work has also been carried out since 1987 with a view to increasing our knowledge about natural systems and thereby to improve planning and provisions for its management.
